Finally Face To Face

After about 7 years of posting together on forums and talking on the phone, I am finally going to meet Berleen face to face! We've called each other the best friend I have never met, but December 10th we will no longer be able to say that!

Insanity Cafe is having a get together party at Ber's house on the 11th (which is also her b-day). I am flying in on the 10th and staying with Ber and her family until Monday morning. Then they will drive me back to the airport and I'll be home at 5ishpm. I am SO excited! I can't wait to see Ber in the flesh and not just a picture. I am also so excited to see a bunch of Minnesota friends on IC that I have been posting with for so many years. I don't leave until the 10th, but I already know what I am going to pack, got the suitcase out and have asked my hubby a million questions about flying. Last time I flew (which was just my second time flying) was over 16 years ago and ironically it was to the Minnesota airport. LOL That was back when all you did was remove anything with metal and walk through the metal detector for security. The last time I flew I had panic attacks when we took off and landed. I'm sure I will again since this time I am flying for the first time by myself. My back will probably be killing me since it's over a 3 hour flight, but it's so going to be worth it.
I wasn't sure I was going to be able to attend, but then another dear member of IC bought my round trip tickets so Ber and I could finally meet face to face! Unfortunately she can't attend because her daughter comes home from college that weekend, but it was generous and sweet that she did that. Another regular member can't attend due to unavailability of vacation days. We will miss both of them!
So expect a long post December 14th with pictures and all the details of finally meeting someone you call a best friend that you've never met face to face!
