Daddy

William Otho Beck
December 20, 1916-July 11, 2007

A picture of his senior high school picture. (My scanner doesn't work) "To Carrie and Van With lots of love Bill" My uncle Van gave this picture to me years ago and I treasure it.
Daddy holding his newborn twin grandbabies Zadie & Zane. He was pretty proud and a bit nervous holding them both at the same time.
Mom & Daddy a few years before he died.

I miss you so much Daddy. I can't believe it's been 2 years. Not a day goes by in this house that someone does not talk about you. From your namesake William to your little genius Wednesday Zella. Everyday you are remembered with love Daddy.

Never more have I needed my daddy more than right now at this point in our lives. I need your wisdom, your strength, your stubbornness, your hug that makes everything alright, your depression stories that will let me know it will be ok and your voice to tell me you love me.

I miss the calls about sports that mom didn't know about. {BTW...The Diamondbacks are sucking. They can't figure out what the hell to do. ASU's baseball team rocked this year.}

I miss you calling just to say hi and you loved me.

I miss your voice.

I miss you Daddy.

Nice memorial to your Dad. I love the pictures. I know it's been a long two years for Mom and you. Even though you can't talk to him anymore, you know exactly what he would say to you!!! It's nice that the kids keep his memory alive by talking about him!

Sorry Ber. :)

Thanks sis! I know what he'd say, but dang I wish I could hear it just one more time. We try to keep his memory alive for little Wednesday. I guess we are doing such a good job at it, she forgot he was dead. I gave her a piece of old Beck Brothers paper to draw on the other day. I said "This is granddaddy's paper, you be careful with it." She asks "Why, where is he?" I told her dead, so she proceeded to go let all the other kids know he was dead but she had his paper. LOL

This is just too hard a day for me. But you thoughts and pictures are wonderful. I know how much you miss him but not near as much as I do. Just remember he is proud of you and is watching over you and your family all the time, and remember what he always said, "Where's your faith, Kimberly, where's your faith?" And always remember that I'm proud of you and love you too!
